ISB Courses

ISB offers advanced systems science courses for scientists and researchers. The course offerings vary, but here are some examples:

Proteomics Informatics Course
The objective of this course is to instruct active proteomics researchers in the use of a suite of software tools designed for the analysis, validation, storage and interpretation of data obtained from large-scale quantitative proteomics experiments using stable isotope labeling method, multi-dimensional chromatography and tandem mass spectrometry. Through daily lectures and hands-on exercises, each course participant should become proficient in the use of the tools.

Microbiome Course and Symposium
ISB hosts an annual course and symposium on the topic of the microbiome and its future role in precision medicine. Both events are virtual and free. The intended audience for these events are graduate students, postdocs, principal investigators, industry scientists, educators, clinicians, or any other variety of microbiome-curious person from across the globe.

Spatial Multi-Omics Workshop
ISB is hosting a free one-day Spatial Multi-Omics for Cancer Systems Biology virtual workshop on February 12, 2024. This virtual workshop will consist of four sessions on topics including: experimental methods, computational algorithms, applications of spatial multi-omics and a practical methods tutorial. The workshop will include the use of Jupyter notebooks and GitHub software to teach computational spatial multi-omics data analysis. The intended audience is graduate students, postdocs, principal investigators, industry scientists, and educators.
