The laboratory of Dr. Adrian Ozinsky at ISB seeks to employ a research associate with molecular and cell biology experience. Current projects aim to use mRNA expression assays with single cell sensitivity to investigate outstanding questions in immunology and cancer biology that require analysis of samples comprised of small numbers of cells.

The techniques involve mammalian cell culture, flow cytometry, and real time PCR. A commitment to conscientious record keeping and wet-bench technique is required to track hundreds of samples and to limit inter-sample contamination. The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor´s degree in the biological sciences and have several years experience of laboratory research.
