Eligibility
Regular, full-time employees who work more than 32 hours per week are eligible for ISB's benefit plans on the 1st of the month following hire. Eligible dependents (spouse, child, domestic partner) may also be covered on the medical, dental, and vision plans for a modest employee contribution. Benefits may change at any time.
Medical Insurance
ISB provides a comprehensive PPO plan through Regence Blue Shield. The plan offers nationwide and international coverage. ISB pays 100% of the employee's premium and subsidizes 85% of the premium cost for dependents. The plan includes coverage for preventive care, hospitalization, rehabilitative therapy, and alternative care.
Dental Insurance
ISB provides 100% of an employee's premium and subsidizes 85% of the premium cost for dependents. Our provider is Washington Dental Service, which covers most dentists in the state. The plan includes 100% coverage for preventive care, 80% coverage for basic services, and 60% coverage for major services.
Vision Insurance
Our vision provider is VSP which covers a large network of vision care providers in the state. The plan includes benefits for exe exams and hardware (glasses and contact lenses).
Life Insurance
ISB pays the cost of a life and accidental death/dismemberment policy for the employee with a benefit amount of 1x employee's annual salary. There is a voluntary buy-up plan available as well.
Short and Long Term Disability
ISB's group disability plan offers short and long term disability benefits. Short term disability pays the employee 60% of normal weekly pay for up to 11 weeks after a 14 day elimination period. Long term disability provides 60% of normal monthly pay after a 90 day elimination period; duration of the paid LTD benefit varies depending on age and circumstances. ISB also provides long term care Insurance for employees with a voluntary buy up plan available for an employee's family.
Retirement Plan
ISB offers a 403(b) retirement plan through TIAA-CREF. ISB contributes a base of 5% and matches up to 5% of the employee's contribution. There is no vesting period and no waiting period.
Time Off
Benefit eligible employees accrue a minimum of 3 weeks vacation. ISB also provides each benefit-eligible employee with 12 sick days and 10 paid holidays per year.
Other Benefits
ISB also offers an Employee Assistance Program, bike loaner program, and on site dry cleaning pick-up service. Employees enjoy our monthly BBQs, annual summar picnic, and annual holiday party. Educational events are offered throughout the year.
