Eligibility
Regular, full-time employees who work more than 32 hours per week are eligible for ISB's benefit plans on the 1st of the month following hire. Eligible dependents (spouse, child, domestic partner) may also be covered on the medical, dental, and vision plans for a modest employee contribution. Benefits may change at any time.
Medical Insurance
ISB provides a choice of two medical plans through Regence Blue Shield which covers 93% of medical providers in the state. ISB pays 100% of an employee's premium and subsidizes 85% of the cost for dependents.
Dental Insurance
ISB provides 100% of an employee's premium and subsidizes 85% of the cost for dependents. Our provider is Washington Dental Service which covers most dentists in the state.
Vision Insurance
Our vision provider is VSP which covers a large number of vision care providers in the state.
Life Insurance
ISB provides 100% of the cost of life insurance in the amount of one times your annual salary. There is a voluntary plan available for dependents.
Short and Long Term Disability
ISB provides 100% of the cost of Short and Long Term Disability for employees. Short term disability provides 60% of your weekly income for up to 11 weeks after a 14 day elimination period. Long term disability provides 60% of your monthly wages up to 2 years (or to age 65 depending on circumstances) after a 90 day elimination period.
Retirement Plan
ISB offers a 403(b) retirement plan through TIAA-CREF. There is no vesting period and no waiting period.
